Cancellation and Substitutions:

Cancellations:
Requests for conference registration refunds must be received in writing at [email protected] by May 14, 2025. A refund (less $50 processing fee) will be made following the conference. Telephone cancellations are not accepted. Individuals who fail to attend the conference will not be entitled to any refund. Fees are not transferable to a future Western Conference of Public Service Commissioners or NARUC event. Cancellation refund requests due to medical emergencies must include documentation.

 Substitutions:
 Substitutions are allowed by individuals within the same institution/company and are required to register by the registration deadline.  Substitutions must be received in writing via email by May 14, 2025.  Send the appropriate attendee contact information to [email protected].

General Policies

NARUC reserves the right to cancel courses due to the unlikely event of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a meeting is at capacity, canceled, or postponed, the Association will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, travel agencies, or hotels.

Discounted Hotel Rates Available at The Hilton:

Once you've registered for the WCPSC event, you will receive a confirmation email with details to reserve your guest room at the discounted rate in the conference venue, the Hilton Portland Downtown. The WCSPC discounted rates for the Hilton are on a first come first served basis and requires a three-night minimum (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, June 1 - 3). Pre- and post-night reservations will not apply to the minimum three-night stay. May 6, 2025, is the deadline for the discounted rate. Depending on availability, discounted rates for up to 3-nights before and 3-nights after the event may be available.

NOTE: Be wary of travel scams. If anyone claiming to be associated with a travel agency and/or “convention housing” contacts you with an offer for booking a hotel room for this event, do NOT provide your contact or payment information. This is a scam. WCPSC does not contract with such firms. In some cases, these companies falsely claim to be the official housing bureau or room representative for WCPSC. We have NOT contracted with any company to serve as our representative. If the headquarters hotel sells out – overflow hotels will be noted on our website.
